Carolyn Gannett, BS, BA, MS


Carolyn Gannett has over twenty years of experience in forensic science.  She has qualified as an expert in several disciplines, including bloodstain pattern analysis, crime scene investigation, gunshot residue analysis by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray analysis, ante-mortem toxicology, solid dose drug analysis, and alcohol analysis.

 

She has been active on the Board and various committees of the IABPA and the California Association of Criminalists, and maintains memberships in the International Association for Identification and the Association for Crime Scene Reconstruction.

Carolyn especially enjoys educating others. She has trained colleagues, law enforcement, and attorneys in various aspects of bloodstain pattern analysis. Currently, she trains others in practical forensic science ethics.
