Awards Committee
The Awards Committee receives and evaluates written nominations for award recipients and make recommendations to the Board regarding recipients. It will also draft award descriptions of and criteria.

Publications Committee
The Publications Committee consists of associate editors of the Journal of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis. The committee is responsible for the continuous recording of information concerning our organization and the discipline of BPA. The associate editors are responsible for the peer review of articles submitted to the Journal for possible publication. They also research current literature for abstracts of BPA articles as well as new ideas for the Journal

Dan Rahn Research Grant Committee
The Dan Rahn Research Grant Committee will receive applications from the Secretary/Treasurer, review them, and make recommendations to the Board

The Legislation Committee will monitor proposed legislation that could influence the way bloodstain pattern analysis is done. It will report to the Board regarding the existence and status of such legislation

SWGSTAIN Document Review Committee
The SWGSTAIN Document Review Committee will be responsible for the review of SWGSTAIN documents. Its primary role will be to review those SWGSTAIN documents that are available for public comment. Feedback to the SWG will be provided in written format and presented by IABPA’s appointed liaison to SWGSTAIN
