Online Adjunct Faculty Needed to
teach South University is currently accepting applications for Online Adjunct Faculty members to teach Bloodstain Pattern Analysis. PhD’s or Master’s Degree with emphasis in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, Public Administration or closely related area required. At least 2 years professional experience in collecting, preserving, analyzing and interpretation of bloodstain evidence and 2 years working with crime scences and collection of evidence is preferred. Course Code: CRJ 4015 Course Description: This course explains the underlying scientific principles involved in bloodstain pattern analysis, which helps in the reconstruction of violent crime scenes. Topics include, the general properties of blood, droplet directionality, documenting bloodstains, and dealing with the risk of blood borne pathogens. will comprise the class. The U.S. Department of Justice is searching for fluent English/Spanish-speaking forensic scientists. The program, termed the International Criminal Investigations Training Assistance Program (ICITAP), works in foreign nations to further develop strong, science-based criminal investigations. The positions are generally short in duration and range from 1-3 weeks.

to Colombia for one to three weeks to teach courses in:
Forensic chemistry Blood stain analysis Forensic evidence collection Voice analysis Crime scene management Tool mark/firearms Firearms The training is part of the International Criminal Investigations Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) within the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. This exciting and unique program focuses on providing high-quality forensic training to countries working to upgrade their forensic capabilities.Qualifications: Qualified individuals will have an extensive background in forensic science, with knowledge of a broad range of basic and advanced forensic science applications and techniques including forensic disciplines. The successful candidate must posses at least a B.S. in the biological sciences, Ph.D or M.D. preferred. Applicants must have 7 or more years of experience as an active forensic scientist in one of the above listed forensic disciplines.
