Joe is a police officer with 25 years of service, a private forensics consultant and university forensic sciences and criminal investigations instructor from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (metropolitan population of approximately one million).

 

Joe has studied bloodstain pattern analysis since 1992 as both a dedicated crime scene investigator and a front-line police officer studying BPA experiments in the laboratory of the 'street'. Joe has testified in a number of high profile and controversial cases and his proudest and most gratifying accomplishments have resulted from his involvement in a number of international wrongful conviction cases.

 

Joe has served the IABPA as the Region II Vice-President (1997-2000), Associate Journal Editor and as the Webmaster.
